Candidates must submit the fully completed online application version of the EPIK application form. The EPIK application form will require you to fill out personal essays and create a sample lesson plan.

Sample Lesson Plan
Applicants must create an original sample lesson plan that includes teaching materials such as PowerPoint slides, worksheets, or other activities. For more information please visit the Sample Lesson Plan Guide. The specific format and instructions will be available as you do the section on the EPIK application.

Personal Essay
Personal essays following EPIK’s questions will be required as you complete the EPIK application. The personal essay consists of 6 parts; the specific questions and word counts will be detailed in the EPIK application. For more information please visit the Personal Essay Guide.

Korvia team can’t access and review your application if you fail to select the correct classification.

EPIK requires two letters of recommendation from academic professors or previous/current employers regarding your work ethic and abilities. Scans of both letters of recommendation will be needed to apply to EPIK and the original ink-signed copies will need to be sent in with your final documents after you pass your EPIK interview.

**For current/recent teachers in Korea, one letter must be from your current/previous school.

Applicants will need a colored passport-sized photo to submit with their EPIK application. The photo should be digitally attached to the application in the designated place as noted on the first page. You can smile in these photos!

Photos must be the official passport size of 3.5 x 4.5cm and must be in front of a completely white backdrop. Personal photos such as those from Facebook or other social media sites will not be accepted.
