EPIK Application Documents
The following documents are required to submit an application to EPIK to obtain an interview for a particular intake. Files must be completed digitally and sent via email to your Korvia recruiter.
Candidates must submit the fully completed online application version (Since Spring 2020 Application) of the EPIK application form . The EPIK application form must also have the sample lesson plan and personal essay attached.
Sample Lesson Plan
Applicants must create an original sample lesson plan that includes teaching materials such as powerpoint slides, worksheets, or other activities. For more information please visit the Sample Lesson Plan Guide.
Personal Essay
A personal essay abiding by EPIK’s essay template should also be submitted. The personal essay consists of three parts and should be between 250-300 words for each section. The essay must address three topics: Why you wish to teach in Korea, your teaching philosophy, and how you will deal with cultural differences/shock. * Please don’t forget to select “Classification” as Agency / Korvia Consulting when you are completing EPIK online application form.
Korvia team can’t access and review your application if you fail to select the correct classification.

Applicants will need a passport-sized photos to submit with their EPIK application. The photo should be digitally attached to application file in the designated place as noted on the front page.
Photos must be the official passport size of 3.5 x 4.5cm and must be in front of a completely white backdrop. Personal photos such as those from Facebook or other social media sites will not be accepted.
