EPIK Process Timeline

Apply at Korvia.com

Applicants must fill out an online application form at www.korvia.com.
If accepted, candidates will then be matched with a recruiter who will schedule
an individual interview session to help decide which program/positions are best for them.

Submit EPIK Application & Initial Documents

Applicants complete and submit the EPIK online application form and the initial documents required.

EPIK Interview

EPIK will send an invitation for an interview to determine an official EPIK program acceptance.

Submit EPIK Final Documents

Candidates must gather and send in all their required documents to Korvia during the specified final submission timeline.
Korvia then double-checks each document and then forwards it to the EPIK Headquarters.

Placement

Once your documents are received, EPIK will look at your application and place you in either a location that you specified as a preference or another area where you are needed.

Apply for Visa with NOA

After your placement is confirmed with EPIK, they will send you a Notification of Appointment (NOA) and a contract
that you must take to the nearest Korean consulate in your country to apply for a Korean teaching visa.

Book a One-way Flight Ticket

After securing the visa, teachers must book a one-way plane ticket to South Korea. The ticket’s cost must be paid upfront by the native English teacher.
They will later get reimbursed with their first paycheck for the ticket’s costs.

EPIK Orientation in Korea

Teachers will fly to South Korea and meet the EPIK team at the airport. They will then take transportation to their particular EPIK orientation venue.
After the orientation, the EPIK team will take the teachers to their specific schools.

First Day of School

Congratulations! You are now officially an EPIK teacher! This marks the beginning of your teaching career in South Korea!
