About Erica Minix
Erica Noel Minix is an American teacher who has been living and working in Asia for the past 5 years. She graduated magna cum laude honors from Bowling Green State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and a double minor in Journalism and Marketing. Prior to teaching English abroad, she was Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for the University of Illinois at Chicago Graduate School of Business. While teaching with SDE, she was an Academic Supervisor to new foreign teachers, a marketing team ambassador, and co-editor of SDE’s monthly newsletter. She was nominated 2017 Foreign Teacher of the Year by International Talent Exchange Magazine. Currently, she is a Studio Art and Graphic Design Teacher at Chenghan International High School in Shenzhen, China.
