As of October 2022, there’s no need for PCR tests within a specific time period before your flight to Korea. However, we still encourage everyone to prioritize safety and health, particularly in the weeks leading up to departure.

Our main intake for Fall 2023 is set for all MOE/POE locations. As soon as your flight details are confirmed, kindly notify the Korvia EPIK team with your full name, flight number, and arrival date & time at Incheon International Airport (ICN) Terminal 2.

Please plan to arrive by August 21st, no later than 3PM KST. Our last shuttle bus departs the airport at 5PM KST. The orientation will take place at Jeonju University. If no flights align with these times, we recommend arriving a day or two earlier. Note that you would need to return to the airport for the shuttle bus to the orientation venue.

Meeting Point: Incheon International Airport (ICN) Terminal 1 (Not Terminal 2). Specific gates will be provided later. Missing the free EPIK buses would require a taxi ride to the orientation venue.

Orientation details: Jeonju University (전주대학교), 303 Cheonjam-ro, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do, from August 21st – August 28th.

For your visa and contract signing: ensure to apply for an E-2 visa at a Korean Consulate/Embassy with your signed contract, Notice of Appointment, passport, and other documents as required by the Embassy/Consulate. We highly recommend applying for your visa in your home country.

Current E2 visa holders can extend their visa status as long as their current Alien Registration Card (ARC) is valid through mid-October. Please apply for the visa ASAP due to extended Covid-19 processing times.

Final arrival date for visa application: September 26th, 2023. Please refrain from purchasing flight tickets until we provide the final arrival date.

Additional details about your arrival and orientation will be provided in due course. We appreciate your understanding as there will be no on-site orientation for September intake candidates upon arrival. Your Office of Education may request an orientation at a later time.
