The Korvia Party Fall 2026 is a free party on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00 PM at the KORVIA and KFTRA booths on Dosan-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — inside the 15th Gangnam Festival. KORVIA is based in Gangnam, so this fall we teamed up with our own neighborhood festival: a quiz show run by Korvia Party MC Kiseong Anderson, challenge games, and a MacBook raffle drawn at 5:30. The Korvia Party Fall 2026 is open to whoever shows up. And 2026 marks KORVIA's 20th anniversary.

Every ticket goes into the same black box and the same 5:30 PM draw — more tickets means better odds, not a separate prize pool. Checking in a second time does not issue new tickets.

KORVIA or KFTRA booth in the Food & K-Culture zone (Beer & Food Festa) on Dosan-daero, near the Hakdong intersection — any time from 1:00 PM. Either booth works. Check-in is only in this zone; the other zone, the Fashion & Beauty Festa at the Dosan Park approach, is free to walk through too.

One party, a three-day weekend
October 3, 2026 is Gaecheonjeol — National Foundation Day, a Korean public holiday. It falls on a Saturday in 2026, so Monday, October 5 is a substitute holiday. That makes October 3–5 a three-day weekend across Korea, and the Gangnam Festival (Oct 3–5) sits right on top of it.
What's open on October 3, 2026?
On National Foundation Day most shops, cafés and restaurants in Seoul stay open, and public transit runs on a weekend schedule; banks and government offices close for the holiday. The Gangnam Festival programmes are free, and so is the Korvia Party Fall 2026.

The KBS gugak concert at Maru Park (Oct 3) and the temple music concert at Bongeunsa (Oct 5, an affiliated event) send the weekend out with drums and strings instead of speakers.

KFTRA — the association behind fair teacher recruiting
KFTRA, the Korea Foreign Teacher Recruiting Association (한국원어민리크루팅협회), is the industry association for native-teacher recruiting in Korea, founded in 2006. KORVIA is a certified KFTRA member.
Korean schools and hagwons that work with native teachers are invited through KFTRA. If you run a program, come meet the community your teachers belong to.

Will I get a confirmation email or a QR code to print?＋
No. The RSVP form does not send a confirmation email, and there is no personal QR code to keep. Your RSVP is recorded the moment the confirmation screen appears. On the day you scan the QR code that is printed at the booth — there is nothing to bring.
Why does the RSVP form ask Koreans for a phone number and everyone else for an email?＋
Because that is how event notices go out: KakaoTalk for Korean participants, email for international participants. You can fill in both if you like, but only the one for your participant type is required.
Can I bring friends?＋
Yes, and the RSVP form asks how many people are coming with you so we can plan the booth. Each person checks in on their own phone at the booth, so each person gets their own raffle tickets.
How do I change or cancel my RSVP?＋
Email support@korvia.com and we will take care of it. RSVP is free and there is no penalty for not coming. Submitting the form twice does not create a second guest or extra tickets — RSVPs are matched by the contact detail you gave.
Who can attend?＋
Everyone. Koreans and foreigners alike, all ages, including English teachers on EPIK, GEPIK, SMOE, GOE, and hagwon contracts, their friends, and school and hagwon partners invited through KFTRA.
Is this the same as Chuseok?＋
No. Chuseok 2026 falls on September 24–26 and is over before this starts. The Gangnam Festival runs October 3–5, 2026, with the Korvia Party Fall 2026 on Saturday, October 3 — a different holiday entirely, National Foundation Day. If you’re booking travel, these are two separate weekends.

코비아 × KFTRA 원어민 강사 파티(Korvia Party Fall 2026)는 2026년 10월 3일(토·개천절) 오후 1시부터 서울 강남구 도산대로의 강남페스티벌 현장(코비아·KFTRA 부스)에서 열립니다. 개천절이 토요일이라 10월 5일(월)이 대체공휴일 — 10월 3~5일 3일 연휴입니다.
