TCIS Young Learner Center

TCIS Young Learner Center, also known as TYLC, is an English language institute located in Seo-gu, Daejeon, South Korea. The institute provides early childhood and young learner English education through an English-immersion environment, combining foreign teachers and bilingual local educators in a dual homeroom, team-teaching model.

TYLC’s educational approach emphasizes inquiry-based learning, balanced content and language development, and the cultivation of independent learners. Its curriculum is organized around thematic learning, with classes conducted in English and designed to develop reading, listening, speaking, writing, presentation, and discussion skills.

The center presents itself as a young learner program developed in collaboration with educational leaders from TYLC and Taejon Christian International School, with educational philosophy and strategies influenced by the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme framework. TYLC is officially registered as a private language institute in Daejeon for practical foreign language education.
