Languages Canada reviews the submission and decides eligibility and awards. Korvia does not receive the testimonial or select recipients.
As reviewed on August 10, 2026, the live application page asks for a Canadian passport, a valid Working Holiday or Youth Mobility type visa at the time of submission, travel between January 1 and December 31, 2026, and consent for Languages Canada to share the testimonial on its website and social channels. Who should check the offer?
The campaign is aimed at Canadian citizens in the Korea youth mobility age range, from 18 to 35 inclusive, who are travelling or working in Korea. Languages Canada directly confirmed to Korvia that eligible E-2 participants are within the campaign audience, including EPIK teachers and teachers at private academies. The live form still controls the decision for each applicant.
- H-1 working holiday: Canadian youth travelling in Korea or combining travel with temporary work permitted by their status.
- E-2 teaching: Canadian language teachers working at a public school, private language institution, or corporate language institution.
- EPIK: Canadian teachers working in Korean public schools through EPIK.
- Private academies: Canadian teachers working at a hagwon or another private teaching workplace.
A matching age, visa category, or workplace does not guarantee a voucher. Languages Canada applies the live terms and makes the final decision.
Canada's official work and travel in South Korea page lists ages 18 to 35 inclusive and describes both Working Holiday and Young Professionals routes. Its Young Professionals section includes E-2 language instructors at public schools, private language institutions, and corporate language institutions.

- Prepare your testimonial. Choose the short video or one-page written format requested on the live page and describe your own experience in Korea.
- Submit directly to Languages Canada. Use the official application form. Do not send your testimonial to Korvia.
- Wait for its decision. Languages Canada controls the eligibility review, remaining allocation, and voucher award.

Why is Korvia sharing this campaign?
Languages Canada explained to Korvia that first-hand accounts from Canadians abroad can add useful context to its work on youth mobility and future policy discussions. Korvia agreed to share the campaign because listening to people who have actually lived and worked overseas can improve how opportunities and support are discussed.
The Government of Canada lists Languages Canada as an International Experience Canada Recognized Organization. It is not a government department. A March 2026 study by Languages Canada and Academica Group, supported by IRCC's IEC program, identified gaps in outbound participation data and called for continued research and collaboration.
Korvia's role in this campaign is limited to clear outreach and practical Korea-side information. Korvia does not collect the testimonial, decide who receives a voucher, promise a policy result, or make testimonial participation a condition of recruitment support.
What happens to your testimonial?
The live application page asks applicants to agree that Languages Canada may share submitted testimonials on its website and social media channels. Languages Canada also described the wider campaign to Korvia as part of a public-interest youth mobility research effort. Read the exact consent language on the live form before submitting. Korvia does not collect or reuse your story through this page.
The first page of the live form also says that limited job-data fields, including a participant's name, destination, visa or work permit category, and job title, may be shared with IRCC for IEC information purposes. The form says those fields will not be shared outside IRCC. This job-data notice is separate from the consent to publish a testimonial. Review both before continuing through the form.
Keep the voucher and recruitment separate
Applying for the voucher is optional. It does not improve or reduce access to Korvia recruitment support, and it does not guarantee an EPIK or private academy position.
