How to do a visa run from South Korea to Japan?

If you need to transfer your visa from Tourist to working, you will need to do a visa run to 3rd countries. Once you obtain a visa issuance number, you can apply in the Korean consulate located in Fukuoka, Japan and you can receive it within 3 business days. Let’s say if you apply for the visa before 11:30 am Monday then you can pick it up in the afternoon on Wednesday.

1.Passport

2.Passport Photo

3.Visa Application Form (Visa issuance number must be indicated)

4.Fee (5400Yen for American, 16500Yen for British)

You can take a Taxi, it will take 30mins and will cost 3,000Yen~3,500Yen.

If you take a subway, please see the guideline below.
1.Shuttle bus to Fukuoka Airport Domestic Terminal

2. Take a subway for MEINOHAMA

3. Take Exit no.1 at TOJINMACHI station (8 stops away from the airport)
