Can I apply if I am from India under CEPA agreement?

Unfortunately, at this time the Korean government only issues E2 English teaching visas to those from one of the 7 native English speaking countries (USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, & New Zealand). Those that fall outside these citizenships can still come to South Korea as a student or tourist, also, are not able to come as an English teacher.
Because of the CEPA, EPIK is the exception but hagwons can not issue an E2 visa unless you are from one of the 7 mentioned countries. This is not a rule from Korvia Consulting, but is a stipulation set forth by the Korean government as well as the Immigration office.
For more inquires, please contact EPIK directly.
