Korvia's final documents submission deadline for the EPIK Fall 2026 cohort is Friday, June 12, 2026. Mail your completed packet to the Korvia office in Korea by then. EPIK reviews documents on a rolling, first-come basis, so the earlier the better. Your exact document list varies by person — so confirm it with your personal recruiter or the Korvia EPIK Team before you send anything.

If you passed your EPIK Fall 2026 interview, you're in the home stretch — and your final documentsare the next step. These are the original, signed, and apostilled documents you mail in after the interview. Here's exactly what to send, what needs an apostille, where to mail it, and what happens after you do.

What June 12 means

EPIK itself doesn't publish a single fixed cut-off — documents are reviewed on a rolling, first-come basis. June 12, 2026 is the submission deadline Korvia has set for the Fall 2026 cohort: the date to get your completed packet to the Korvia office so our team can review it and forward it to EPIK in time for this intake. Because EPIK works first-come-first-served, sending early genuinely helps your placement odds — and missing the cohort deadline can slow your file down or, if it pushes you past the intake timeline, put your Fall 2026 placement at risk.

Your final documents checklist

Below is the standard packet. Your personal list can differ — some applicants submit extra documents — so treat this as the baseline and confirm yours with your recruiter or the full list at korvia.com/epik-final-documents.

EPIK application form (printed)

All 12 pages, ink-signed on page 6 — essays and lesson plan included.

National criminal record check

Apostille required

National-level (FBI / RCMP / Basic DBS / AFP, etc.). Valid 6 months from issue.

Bachelor's degree diploma

Apostille required

Your 3–4 year Bachelor's degree, apostilled at the state/provincial level.

Two sets of sealed transcripts

Sealed by your university registrar — do not open the envelopes.

Two recommendation letters

Original, hand-written ink signatures from work or academic references.

TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certificate

A photocopy is fine — no apostille or notarization needed (100+ hours).

Passport copy + two photos

Passport info-page copy (13+ months validity) and two passport-sized photos.

Conditional extras

Varies by person

e.g. UK/Australia apostilled birth certificate; South Africa/Quebec proof of English-medium education; higher-salary teaching letters.

Not on the list: a signed employment contract or a health/medical statement. Your contract and Notice of Appointment (NOA)are issued later — after an Office of Education accepts your placement — and sent to you for your visa. EPIK doesn't require a health statement at this stage; medical checks happen during orientation.

What needs an apostille (and what doesn't)

Korea is part of the Hague Apostille Convention. Two documents must be apostilled — each one separately:

Your TEFL certificate, transcripts, photos, and application form do notneed an apostille. (If you hold a Master's in education and want to start at a higher salary, it can be apostilled together with your Bachelor's — ask your recruiter.) New to the process? Our apostille guide and background-check guide cover each country's authority, cost, and turnaround.

Where and how to mail your packet

Send your completed final documents to the Korvia office in Korea — not to EPIK directly. Korvia checks your packet first, then forwards it to EPIK.

Mailing address

2517 25F Hyundai Rexion, 305 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea (06628)

  • Use UPS, FedEx, or DHL — ideally UPS or FedEx, since DHL has opened sealed transcripts.
  • Avoid local services: USPS, Canada Post, Royal Mail.
  • UK applicants: FedEx or UPS only.
  • South African applicants: get an extra set of sealed transcripts as backup, in case a courier opens the originals.

Cutting it close? Do these three things today

  1. 1

Email your recruiter or epik@korvia.com now. Tell the Korvia EPIK Team exactly which documents are still outstanding — the earlier they know, the more options you have.

  2. 2

Use placeholders if needed. No diploma yet? A "Letter of Expected Graduation" can stand in. TEFL not finished? An enrollment letter plus a Sworn Declaration may be accepted.

  3. 3

Ship with a trackable courier. Use UPS or FedEx to the Korvia address above and keep the tracking number as your proof.

What happens after you submit

Here's the full path from your packet to the classroom:

  1. You mail your final documents to the Korvia office.
  2. The Korvia EPIK Team reviews your packet and sends feedback if anything's missing.
  3. Korvia forwards your packet to EPIK.
  4. EPIK reviews your documents.
  5. EPIK sends you to a Metropolitan/Provincial Office of Education (MOE/POE) for a job offer.
  6. The MOE/POE accepts you — that's your placement.
  7. On acceptance, your contract and Notice of Appointment (NOA) are issued for visa issuance.
  8. EPIK or Korvia sends the package to you.
  9. You apply for your E-2-2 visa at a Korean consulate or visa application center.
  10. You receive your visa grant notice.
  11. You arrive in Korea and attend EPIK orientation.

Confirm your personal list and deadline

June 12, 2026 is Korvia's submission deadline for the Fall 2026 cohort, and the checklist above is the standard packet — but the exact documents (and any personal cut-off) depend on your situation. Your personal recruiter and the Korvia EPIK Team are the final word. Before you mail anything, confirm your list, the address, and your timing with them, or email epik@korvia.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the EPIK Fall 2026 final documents deadline?

+

Korvia's submission deadline for the Fall 2026 cohort is Friday, June 12, 2026 — the date to get your completed final documents to the Korvia office in Korea. EPIK reviews documents on a rolling, first-come basis, so earlier is always better. Confirm your exact deadline and required documents with your personal recruiter or the Korvia EPIK Team (epik@korvia.com) before you mail anything.

Where do I send my EPIK final documents?

+

To the Korvia office in Korea — not to EPIK directly. Korvia reviews your packet, sends feedback on anything missing, then forwards it to EPIK. Mailing address: 2517 25F Hyundai Rexion, 305 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea (06628). Use UPS, FedEx, or DHL — ideally UPS or FedEx, because DHL has been known to open sealed transcripts. Avoid local services like USPS, Canada Post, and Royal Mail. UK applicants should use FedEx or UPS only.

Which documents need an apostille?

+

Two for everyone: your Bachelor's degree diploma and your national-level criminal record check (each apostilled separately). UK and Australian applicants also need an apostilled birth or citizenship certificate. Your TEFL certificate, transcripts, passport copy, and application form do not need an apostille.

What exactly is in the final documents packet?

+

For most applicants: the printed EPIK application form (ink-signed), two passport photos, a passport photocopy, your apostilled national criminal record check, your apostilled Bachelor's diploma, two sets of sealed transcripts, two original ink-signed recommendation letters, and a photocopy of your TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate. Some applicants submit extra documents (South Africa/Quebec proof of English-medium education, UK/Australia apostilled birth certificate, higher-salary teaching letters, and more). Because it varies by individual, confirm your exact list with your recruiter — the full list is at korvia.com/epik-final-documents.

Do I submit a signed employment contract?

+

No — you do not submit a contract with your final documents. Your contract and Notice of Appointment (NOA) are issued later, after a Metropolitan or Provincial Office of Education accepts your placement, and are then sent to you for your E-2 visa application.

Do I need a health or medical statement?

+

No. EPIK does not require a health statement as part of your final documents. Medical checks are completed during EPIK orientation in Korea (the only exception is the chest X-ray / TB test South African applicants need for the E-2 visa).

Can I send photocopies of apostilled documents, or use digital signatures?

+

No. Final documents need original apostilles and hand-written ink signatures only — no photocopies of apostilled documents, and no digital or traced signatures. (Digital signatures are fine for the online application, but not for final documents.)

What if I'm missing a document — like my diploma or TEFL certificate?

+

Don't wait. If your Bachelor's diploma isn't ready, a "Letter of Expected Graduation" can stand in as a placeholder if you'll graduate before your start date. If your TEFL isn't finished, an enrollment letter plus a Sworn Declaration may be accepted. Email epik@korvia.com or your recruiter right away — flagging it early usually keeps your intake on track.
