Overview
Very short teaching hour (5~6 hrs): The working hour is 1pm to 9pm. However, the actual teaching starts from 2pm and normally finish at 7~7:30pm. You can go home when the classes are over. This position offers a competitive salary (₩2,400,000–₩2,600,000) and is situated in a less crowded region, ensuring a comfortable teaching atmosphere with 25 weekly hours. Communicative English in a private language institute
Private English academies (hagwons) in Korea deliver communicative language teaching in English-only or English-immersive classrooms. Classes run across multiple age groups with curriculum books provided by the school.
Schools provide curriculum guides and textbooks. Typical prep is 30–60 min/day for activity customisation, speaking task design, and student feedback notes.
Morning kindergarten immersion (9 AM – 1 PM), then after-school primary and secondary classes from 2–8 PM Mon–Fri. Saturday morning classes are common at larger academies.
