Teaching at Dongtan SLP
Communicative immersion under a Korean university brand
SLP (Sogang Language Programme) pairs its university affiliation with a communicative teaching approach focused on speaking and listening from day one. Kindergarten programs run 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year immersive tracks producing fluent graduates. Elementary after-school classes follow a structured four-skills syllabus. 12 campuses spread across greater Seoul, Incheon, Busan, and Jeju.
Structured curriculum guides and speaking test rubrics are provided. Weekly unit prep and conversation activity design take ~2 hrs. End-of-term speaking assessments are teacher-led.
Morning kindergarten immersion (9 AM–1 PM), then afternoon elementary classes 2–6 PM. SLP campuses operate Mon–Fri with occasional Saturday programs at larger locations. Stable scheduling and university branding attract serious parents.
