Overview
Working on Saturdays three times a year (paid) The vacation period is 5 week days for summer vacation, 5 week days for winter vacation, and 5 week days for personal annual leave (including sick leave), for a total of 15 week days. Housing is provided, and if the instructor does not need housing, it is replaced with Housing Allowance. *Accommodation located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul / Housing Allowance Possible (500,000 KRW per month)

Communicative English in a private language institute
Private English academies (hagwons) in Korea deliver communicative language teaching in English-only or English-immersive classrooms. Classes run across multiple age groups with curriculum books provided by the school.
Schools provide curriculum guides and textbooks. Typical prep is 30–60 min/day for activity customisation, speaking task design, and student feedback notes.
Morning kindergarten immersion (9 AM – 1 PM), then after-school primary and secondary classes from 2–8 PM Mon–Fri. Saturday morning classes are common at larger academies.
