My name is Amanda Colletti; I am from St. Louis, Missouri, USA.  I was recruited as a Native Speaker English Teacher for S.M.O.E. (Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education) in November 2008 and arrived in South Korea in February 2009.  I was recruited by Korvia and worked very closely with Ann Park.  I would like to take this opportunity to let you know what a wonderful experience it was to work with Ann.

I do not know how to express my gratitude to her for all that she has done for me.  She made every step of the recruiting process and the journey to Korea very easy for me.  I know I was not an easy client to work with because I always had so many questions, but Ann always had a detailed answer for me.  She was prompt in responding to any inquiry I might have and was always very polite and cheerful.  She gave me a great deal of advice and was always available to assist me with anything I needed.  I would receive phone calls and emails reminding me of important due dates and she always left confirmation with me when she received any documents I sent (via email or post).

Before coming to Korea I knew very little about the country or its people.  When I first sent in my application I was nervous that I would not be able to communicate with my recruiter or anyone in Korea for that matter.  But I was pleasantly surprised: every time I communicated with Ann (on the phone or by email), she was very easy to understand and I am afraid that her English grammar and writing might be better than mine!  She was so kind to wish me Happy Holidays and was very up-to-date with the news and happenings in America.

Working with Korvia and Ann Park was a wonderful experience and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone interested in teaching in Korea.  Thanks Korvia!  Thanks Ann!
