I’ve always dreamt of living in Asia, but never thought it would actually become a reality.  I had just finished a year of teaching abroad in Prague, in The Czech Republic when I was ready for the next step. I started to search online and quickly became overwhelmed with the plethora of teaching English abroad websites offering positions in South Korea, Japan, China and the list goes on.  I had no idea where to begin and I was extremely nervous because there was no way to tell which companies were legitimate.  Let’s be honest, I wanted to move to the other side of the world without ever seeing or meeting anyone in the school I was to work for.  It was a delicate situation.  Well I’m happy to say that I am currently living and teaching in Bucheon, South Korea and could not be any happier!  Thankfully to the referral of friend to Korvia Consulting I not only have a steady job, but I’m taken care of as well.  I have been in South Korea for two weeks and they have been the most amazing two weeks of my life.  I only look forward to the year ahead.

Leading up to my departure to South Korea Juno, my recruiter, was incredible.  I played twenty questions with her every other day and she answered every single question and promptly!  She also told me exactly what paperwork was needed from me so the visa process was the easiest and most straightforward application I’ve ever been through.  My co-teachers at my school have not only welcomed me into their country with open arms, but have taught me about the their culture and been incredibly patient with me while I’ve transitioned into my new lifestyle.  This is all a testament to the work ethic and opportunities that Korvia offers.  It is a once in a lifetime opportunity, one that I will surely never forget!
