ABSOPOSITIVELLY! Foreign teacher communities exist in just about every corner in South Korea. In the larger cities whole neighborhoods will be made up of mostly foreign teachers. Finding and meeting other foreigners is quite easy. At KorVia Consulting we do our best to help you network and connect with other foreigners in Korea. We encourage all of our teachers to network and share information. Being far away from home means we'll take all the freinds we can get! A great way to do this is by dropping in on one of our sponsored teacher night out events. We like to host a rather large gathering of teachers about 4-5 times a year and it is always an excellent opportuntity to meet, share stories, and network with other teachers as well as the staff at KorVia. Check the video on our site of our latest gathering and keep an eye out for the next party.
Network with your community! It is a great support system while abroad!
Share advice, information, and contact information with those you feel comfortable doing so with and stay in touch with us at KorVia. We're always eager to catch up with our teachers. (especially if beer and loud music is involved!)
