How to apply E2 visa after obtained visa issuance number?
If you already got your visa issuance number you just need to contact nearest Korean consulate for visa application. Some of consulate will request consul's interview if you are obtaining E2 visa for first time. Most of Canadian Consulate will request for an interview and you need to arrange an time for it.
Korvia Consulting will provide you visa application form including your visa issuance number and your employer's information will be on your attached application form. You must notice that you could wait for 5~6 business days in order to arrange consul's interview so if you don't have enough time before your starting date (you may need at least 2 weeks in advance) then you might need to contact your nearest Korean Consulate in advance.
You can make an arrangement before visa issuance number has been issued so it is important that you find out what kind of items that you need to bring.
1. Visa application form + consul's interview check list 2. Visa issuance number + employer's information 3. Your Passport 4. Passport size photo 5. Visa application fee (it may vary depends on consulate)
NOTE: Few consulate is requesting a copy of criminal record check and Official sealed transcripts. Please make sure that you will contact your nearest consulate in advance otherwise you must wait for extra 5~6 days for waiting your transcripts or criminal background check. You can bring a copy of criminal record check so please request to your recruiter to send you a scanned copy if Korean consulate requests.
