You just need to have letter of release from current employer but you need to make sure that you will provide all required document for public school job. Even you have submitted your CRC and official sealed transcript to Korean immigration office, public school (new school) need to keep a copy of your criminal record check. There are two ways that you can solve this. 1. Request to current employer to write a letter to Korean immigration for asking an official copy of CRC that you have submitted. In this case you must bring the letter to immigration office and get a copy of your CRC (stamp need to be on). 2. Apply new CRC from home country. police clearance in South Korea only employer can request to Korean police department. (A statement that you can obtain by yourself at Korean police department is not eligible for submitting.
