Dear Successful EPIK candidates,

We are glad to inform you that most of your package has been sent by DHL and you must applying E2 visa or booking flight for orientation arrival.

We would like remind you few things before your arrival and please send us your flight itinerary if you already booked your flight so we can inform to EPIK for arranging airport shuttle bus service.

1. FREE INCOME TAX APPLICATION
   For US, UK, Australian, New Zealand, Ireland, and South African candidate; Please make sure that you will bring your residency certificate for your income tax exemption. According to double taxation agreement, you don’t have to pay income tax for first two year but you need to register at Korean tax office for this exemption application. Your school will help you for exemption application but school need a document that prove that your permanent address in your home country and you are paying tax in your country.
   “Residency certificate” or “Residential registration” you need to obtain this document from your tax office and please apply this ASAP so you can bring it or your tax office can send it to your school.

2. FREE PREPAID CELL PHONE
   Korvia Consulting will provide you free pre-paid cell phone upon your arrival. Korvia Consulting was able to engage a sponsorship by Phone and Phone telecom and this is free of charge for you but you must agree that your person information will be forwarded to this company for registration reason. PLEASE let us know if you already have cell phone or afraid that your personal information will be forwarded to another party for service subscribe.
   “PERSONAL INFORMATION” will be your e-mail address and copy of passport
   This is not a contract and there is no obligation that you need to use this phone for rest of years during your contract but Korvia is providing you this prepaid cell phone in order to supporting your communication between school and yourself (including your family).

3. FLIGHT BOOKING
   EPIK is requesting your full flight itinerary in case your flight will be delayed or any accident happened during your trip. As EPIK informed you regarding shuttle bus service at the airport, EPIK shuttle bus will no longer available after 10PM so we would like to suggest you to arrive before 7~8PM because your filght can be easily delay for few hours.
   Please send your flight itinerary at henry@korvia.com then we will send you a confirmation letter that we have received your itinerary and we will inform to EPIK office. In case you will arrive early and find orientation venue by yourself, please inform us that you will find orientation place by yourself so we can inform that you will be checking in by yourself.
4. 4.     E2 Visa application
   Few candidate send us questions after checking Korean consulate website regarding list of document for E2 visa application. You DO NOT have visa issuance number but NOA so please disregard visa issuance number for your E2 visa application. Also please request us scanned copy of your criminal background check in case your nearest Korean consulate is requesting one. EPIK already listed your name on ministry of justice database for your visa application so consulate should be able to find your name on database and will issue E2 visa within 5~7 working days.
   In case you need an acceleration of visa application process, please let us know so we can find what we can help. Usually Korean consulate will accelerate your visa application if you show your flight itinerary.

5. Upon arrival
   Korvia Staff will be waiting at EPIK reception (counter) and you must come to EPIK counter so you can get shuttle bus number. Please do not take taxi or bus if you are expecting EPIK shuttle bus service and you can call us or send me e-mail in case of emergency.
