English Media and Bookstores

Is print dead? NO. It lives in South Korea. You can find two major daily English language publications in South Korea including the domestically published Korea Times and the international edition of the The Korean Herald. These papers cost 700-800 won respectively and can be found at most street vendors and convenient stores throughout the country. In larger cities you can find bookstores which stock a large English title section. Kyobo bookstore is the largest chain bookstore in South Korea.
